Visiting Hours & Policies

Note: Please reference here for the latest updates and changes in visiting policies related to COVID-19.

Visiting Hours

Visits from family and friends often contribute to a patient’s recovery. However, please be considerate of the needs of your patient and of the others who need periods of rest and quiet. There are no set visiting hours; however, a patient’s physician may place special restrictions on visits if he or she considers it necessary. Please note that for security reasons and noise reduction, we close all of our entrances except the emergency entrance at 10:00 PM.

Visiting Policies

Children under 12 may not visit Lake Haven Behavioral Center located on 4th floor. They may visit all other areas, but need special permission to visit the Critical Care Unit.

The visiting hours for the Critical Care Unit are:

Two members of the immediate family above the age of 12 may visit at those times. Patients in the Critical Care Unit cannot receive flowers or gifts until they are moved to a regular room. Cell phones are not allowed in the Critical Care Unit.
