Bright Beginnings Educational Programs

HCMC’s Bright Beginnings Program offers educational opportunities for expecting parents and new moms.

Breastfeeding Classes

Provided by Angie Natero, RN, BSN, IBCLC, HCMC Women’s Center Certified Lactation Consultant.

Breastfeeding is hard work and Henry County Medical Center’s Bright Beginnings Program wants to provide education and support to its mothers.

Join our weekly support group for expecting moms and new moms who are interested in breastfeeding or who are currently breastfeeding newborn babies or babies up to one year of age. Our goal is for you and your baby to be successful at breastfeeding.

Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. (meetings will last approximately one hour)
HCMC Classroom 2

Each session will focus on a specific topic related to breastfeeding, but topics will be open to the needs of the participants and questions are welcome.

Each class is FREE to moms who have delivered at HCMC within the last year or who are currently expecting and scheduled to deliver at HCMC. There will be a $10 charge per class for other participants.
