PARIS, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary recognized its outgoing officers for the 2017-2018 year at their monthly meeting on June 27, 2018. Additionally, the officers for the 2018-2019 year were installed.
Recognized with a certificate and a gift of appreciation for serving as officers were: Patsy Blount, President; Laverne Crowley, Vice-President; Carolyn Todd, Secretary; Mary Lou Walker, Treasurer; Barbara Skelley, Assistant-Treasurer; Sharon Harrington, Historian; and Peggy Swider, Chaplain.
The installation ceremony for the 2018-2019 officers also took place during the June meeting. The newly installed officers are as followed: Joyce Spinn, President; Wanda Davis, Vice-President; Carolyn Todd, Secretary; Mary Lou Walker, Treasurer; Barbara Skelley, Assistant-Treasurer; Geri Ohlson, Historian; and Peggy Swider, Chaplain.
“HCMC has a wonderful team of volunteers, without whom this hospital could not thrive,” said Hailey Harrison, HCMC Volunteer Coordinator. “I believe this executive board of officers will lead the group to another great year of service.”
HCMC Auxiliary volunteers are warm and caring individuals who give back to the community. Volunteers offer their time, talent and dedication throughout the hospital in patient care and clerical settings providing an extra dimension of care to our patients and families. Volunteers are a vital part of HCMC with more than 50 volunteers currently serving across the organization.
