HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary Awards Annual Scholarships

These three students received this year’s HCMC Auxiliary scholarships to pursue medical degrees at the university or college of their choice in the fall.

PARIS, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary awarded three, $2,000 scholarships to Henry County High School students during their May meeting, where the recipients and their parents were special guests.

The three recipients are Sarah Grace Tucker, Sarah Luna, and Leah Carol Bell. The three students are graduating seniors from Henry County High School and will be attending a college or university in the fall, studying a medical field. The students will be pursuing the following:

  • Tucker, daughter of Jeff and Angie Tucker, will be attending the University of Tennessee at Martin, pursuing a degree in occupational therapy.
  • Luna, daughter of Peggy Bennett, will be attending Baptist College of Health and Science in Memphis, pursuing a degree in nursing.
  • Bell, daughter of Jerry and Tamara Bell, will be attending Murray State University, pursuing a degree in nursing.

“We are always pleased to recognize three outstanding seniors from Henry County High School with scholarships so that they may continue their education,” said Barbara Skelley, HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary member. “Each young lady is very deserving of this recognition and we wish them the best.”
