HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary Awards 2017 Scholarships

These three students received this year’s HCMC Auxiliary scholarships to pursue medical degrees at the university or college of their choice in the fall.

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary awarded three, $2,000 scholarships to Henry County High School students during its May meeting, where the recipients and their parents were special guests.

The three recipients are Trent Wilson, Madison Demorato, and Danielle Stafford. The three students are graduating seniors from Henry County High School and will be attending a college or university in the fall studying a medical field. The students will be pursuing the following:

  • Wilson, son of Wayne and Emily Wilson and Lisa Wade, will be attending University of TN at Chattanooga in the fall pursuing a degree in physical therapy
  • Demorato, daughter of Joelle Hallisey and Michael Demorato, will be playing softball at Murray State University, pursing a degree in physical therapy
  • Stafford, daughter of Annette Gloss, will be attending Union University, pursuing a 2 year pharmacy tract for her doctorate.

“We are thrilled to be able to award three graduating seniors from Henry County High School a scholarship this year,” said Carnell Browning, HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary member who introduced the scholarship winners at the May Auxiliary meeting.
