HCMC November Stars of Excellence Revealed

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center is pleased to announce that the Partner of the Month for November in the Stars of Excellence Program is Laura Barnett, Pharmacy.  Two others were named a Star Partner in the program.

Barnett was nominated by Nursing at HCHC for all her help with pharmacy and physician orders, ensuring that patients at HCHC receive the correct medication in a timely manner.  She works for ways to save money and helps to ensure that any questions about medications are answered.  She always is there to make sure the residents are well taken care of and medication safety is front and center.

HCMC also awards Star Partners each month. The Star Partners for November are Patty Robertson, HCHC Social Services and Tonia Atkins, HCHC Food and Nutrition.  They were nominated for the following:

  • Roberson was nominated by the HCHC Administrator for taking on the director’s role while he was out, assuming the responsibilities of admissions, insurance updates and other job duties including discharge and social service duties.  She worked without complaint and did an excellent job, always communicating with administration.
  • Atkinson was nominated by her manager for taking on additional responsibilities while other partners were out.  She is always willing to take on additional workloads and she ensures that the residents receive the meals they need.
