HCMC Growing Forward with New Management and Administrative Additions

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center proudly introduces four new department directors to our management team.  Recent additions to our management staff are Lori McCormick, Director of Food Services; Tammi St. John, Director of Health Information Management; and Audra Witty, Director of Lake Haven Behavioral Center. Additionally, HCMC has added Kelley Rushing, CMPE, Chief Business and Practice Development Officer to the administrative team, replacing Charles Dyer who is retiring April 2.

Rushing joins Henry County Medical Center from the Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, Kentucky where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Rushing has served in varying administrative capacities across the region for the last 30 years. Rushing earned his education in Health and Business at Western Kentucky University and became a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He joined HCMC at the end of 2019 as Director of Physician Practice Management and will now be filling the role of Chief Business and Practice Development Officer. HCMC believes with Rushing’s experiences and where we are as an organization, these roles are best served by combining them.

McCormick began working at Henry County Medical Center in May 2013. She earned her certification in dietary management from Auburn University. She came to Henry County Medical Center with 22 years of experience. McCormick began as a Certified Dietary Manager and now is happy to serve as the Director of Food Services. McCormick resides in Big Sandy, TN.

St. John joined Henry County Medical Center from West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital where she served as HIM Operations Manager/Privacy Officer since June 2018. Prior to that, St. John served as the HIM Director and Hospital/Clinic Privacy Officer for Tennova Dyersburg Regional Medical Center since 2006. She is originally from Martin, TN. but has been living in the Dyersburg/Finley area for the past 15 years. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, and then transferred to Dyersburg State Community College where she completed her degree in Health Information Management.  She is currently attending the Western Governor’s University to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management. She currently serves on the HIT Advisory Committee for Dyersburg State Community College and is a member of AHIMA, as well as WTHIMA. St. John joins HCMC as the Director of Health Information Management.

Witty joined Henry County Medical Center from Compass Intervention in Memphis, TN where she served as a house supervisor. She attended the University of Memphis. She began her career as a staff nurse, then progressed to a charge nurse in Step Down ICU at Baptist Hospital in Memphis and is now happy to serve as the Director of Lake Haven Behavioral Center.
