Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center is pleased to announce that Sylvester Nwedo has joined the medical staff and has started seeing patients at Lake Haven Behavioral Center.
Dr. Nwedo joins Lake Haven Behavioral Center from Pathways Behavioral Services at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN, as Psychiatrist. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Nwedo earned his Medical degree from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, and received his graduate degree from Vrije University in Brussels, Belgium. He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a member of the American Association of Medical Review Officers.
“I am excited to be a part of this friendly community,” said Dr. Nwedo. “I look forward to jumping in and growing with this organization.”
Dr. Nwedo resides in Paris with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family and is excited to explore the terrain of the Kentucky Lake area. He also enjoys spending time playing tennis.
